how should i care for my new piece?

All of my pieces are made from high fire stoneware and fired to over 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. They are dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended to prolong the life if the piece. Any piece with gold or pearlescent luster is not microwave safe.
